Distribution and consulting partners represent consulting, service, and product companies that:

  • Have proven industry experience in power monitoring and diagnostics
  • Offer additional value-added services that customize or extend SmartSub implementations
  • Generate SmartSub sales referrals and implement SmartSub for their customers

Distribution and consulting partners provide direct customer referrals and receive sales and technical training to prepare them to promote SmartSub within their customer base. The “SmartSub Certified” insignia is given to partners who have completed DevSci’s extensive training, indicating they are experts on our latest products.

Distribution and Consulting Partnership Program Levels

Distribution and consulting partnerships are separated into three program levels:

  1. Referral Level
    Referral partners are those companies who simply want to refer potential customers to DevSci. These partners receive a straight revenue percentage for referred customers who purchase SmartSub.
  2. Value-Added Referral Level
    Value-added referral partners are companies who offer additional products or services that help extend the SmartSub solution. Many companies offer unique products or consulting services that customize SmartSub to meet organizations’ individual needs. These partners are validated by DevSci and carry the “SmartSub Certified” insignia to demonstrate their training and expertise with power monitoring and diagnostics implementations.
  3. Strategic Level
    Strategic partners work closely with DevSci to develop specific market segments and geographic regions not traditionally covered by DevSci. Significant resources are committed by both parties at this level, including dedicated sales and technical resources and a mutually agreed upon market development fund (MDF).

Distribution and Consulting Partnership Requirements

In order to participate at any partnership level, a company must meet the following eligibility guidelines:

  • Strong financial health
  • Knowledge of the utility and/or industrial and commercial power monitoring markets
  • Close fit between SmartSub and partner’s products and/or services
  • Strong overlap between DevSci’s and partner's customer base
  • Significant referral flow capabilities
  • Customer references

Additionally, value-added referral and strategic partners must pay an annual partnership fee, complete a series of training courses, and submit partner pipeline reports on a regular basis.
